Dear Parent/Guardian,

As educators at Boles Middle School, the teachers and administrators encourage the students to accept the responsibilities of their own education. The fulfillment of these responsibilities will assist the students in their preparation to lead productive and successful lives as adults.

In order to further encourage the development of our students, the 7^th and 8^th grade teachers of Boles Middle School have adopted a unified policy regarding late assignments. All assignments will be expected to be submitted on the due date designated by each teacher. Assignments turned in after the designated due date will receive no greater then 50% of the total possible points. This policy will be effective Jan. 3, 2008.

Assignments turned in late due to absences will not receive the late deduction. Please refer to your student handbook concerning absent assignments.
