Boles Middle School was Academically Acceptable
Science scores were a strength
Gold Performance Acknowledgements: Attendance, Reading/ELA
Writing was commendable, but percentage passing decreased from the previous year
All students met ARD expectations

Challenges:

Math TAKS passing percentages are below campus expectations for all grades
Reading, economically disadvantaged subgroup is a major concern that will be targeted
Discipline referrals of SPED students to ISS/AEP are increasing
Character education and bullying programs continue to be a necessity
Standards are increasing & we must maintain progress & monitor frequently

Major Concerns:

It is clear that our major concern is ensuring high student achievement in all tested areas among all student groups.
